Join us for two days of premium country and metropolitan racing at the 2025 Darley Scone Cup Carnival!
Experience the thrill of brilliant racing during Australia’s most prestigious two-day racing carnival at the Scone Race Club, on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 May. The richest country racing carnival in Australia, the Darley Scone Cup Carnival offers over $2.5M in prize money and holds stand-alone metropolitan status – bringing Sydney racing to Scone!

With a new family focus this year on the Saturday, the Arrowfield Dark Jewel Day will provide (on Saturday only!):

- The return of our BYO picnic (food only) policy (no BYO alcohol)
- BYO folding tables and chairs to enjoy a relaxed day trackside
- Live entertainment from Jimbo Stokes

Saturday will also boast a full 10-race metropolitan-quality card featuring five listed races, $1.75 million in prize money, and the $250,000 Group 3 Dark Jewel Classic for fillies and mares.

Shuttle Bus Schedule
Complimentary SRC Shuttle Buses are available to all Hospitality and General Admission ticket holders, simply by presenting your ticket on the relevant day. To allow you to organise your travel to and from the track below are designated times and pick up locations:
Friday
Muswellbrook Train Station (multiple buses)
10:00am then a continuous shuttle service each hour with last pick up at 1:30pm
Return shuttles will run from 3:30pm – 10:00pm
Commercial Hotel Aberdeen
10:15am then a continuous shuttle service each hour with last pick up at 1:30pm
Return shuttles will run from 3:30pm – 10:00pm
Scone Railway Station – Scone RSL Loop (multiple buses)
10:30am at Railway Station then a continuous shuttle service each half hour with last pick up at 2:00pm
Return shuttles will run from 3:30pm – 10:00pm
Saturday

9:30am with pickups from Commercial Hotel Aberdeen on each run then a continuous shuttle service each hour, last pick up at 1:30pm

Marquees and Function Rooms- Formal Attire
We ask that all Marquee and Function Room Guests adhere to our Formal Attire dress code.
Ladies – Acceptable:
– Dress skirts
– Dress below the knees
– Tailored trousers or slacks
– Millinery
Not Accepted:
– Joggers, sports shoes, track shoes, runners, thongs, dilapidated footwear, scuffs, gumboots, crocs, slippers
– Jeans/ denim, jodhpurs, shorts, or short playsuits.
– Torn or ripped clothing.
– Garments showing off midriff.
– Leggings worn as pants.
– Parkas, duffle coast, windbreakers, track tops, denim jackets or anoraks.
Mens – Acceptable:
– Tailored pants
– Dress shoes
– Collared shirt and tie
– Jacket, sports coat, or blazer
Not Accepted:
– Joggers, sports shoes, track shoes, runners, sandals, thongs, dilapidated footwear, scuffs, gumboots, crocs, or slippers.
– Jeans/ denim, jodhpurs, shorts, or untailored slacks.
– Torn or ripped clothing.
– Open neck shirts with no collar
– Parkas, duffle coats, windbreakers, tracksuit tops, denim jackets or anoraks, leather bomber jackets.
– Tracksuits
– Peaked caps, beanies
– Pullovers or cardigans (without a jacket), rugby tops, or football jerseys.
Members
We ask that all Members and Members Guests adhere to our smart causal dress code.
General Admission
There is no formal dress code in general admission, but we recommend smart dress befitting of a race day occasion. Dress code applies for all children 14 years and older.
Please avoid wearing:
– Fancy dress costumes
– Tattered clothing or shoes
– Thongs or barefoot
– Offensive attire (inappropriate language and/ or imagery)
Food & Beverage Policy
Friday
Patrons are not permitted to bring food on site for Friday unless required for special dietary purposes and/or for infants.
No chairs or other furniture is permitted to be brought on to the race course on Friday.
Saturday
This year patrons are welcome to bring a picnic for Saturday, including food, picnic blankets and baskets.
Small tables and chairs are permitted to be brought onto the race course on Saturday.
All Scone Cup Carnival
Licensing requirements, and the safety of other patrons, dictate that the following items are also NOT permitted on the Scone Race Club premises:
– Alcohol
– Beverages of any type – you are welcome to bring empty water bottles for filling at free water stations.
