A very successful weekend for Brett Cavanough. Another trip to Sydney saw him come away with a win at Rosehill on Saturday with Another Sin becoming the first debutante to win a TAB Highway Handicap in a close finish. In Tamworth on Friday “Peppermint Patty” won the Maiden Plate 1000mtrs with Rod Northam trained “The Debater” coming in 3rd. “Subtle Winner” took out the Maiden Hcp 1400mtrs for the Cavanough stables whilst Dean McHardie picked up a 3rd with “Mr Haar” in the BM63 HCP 2100mtrs.

Narromine on Sunday was a Showcase meeting and once again Brett Cavanough and Rod Northam were in the placings. “Eiffel Tower” was 3rd in the 3YO Country Plate 1100mtrs whilst “Sweers Island” picked up 2nd in the Maiden HCP 800mtrs.

In the Class 1 HCP 1200mtrs Rod picked up 2nd with “Grundalina” and Brett was 3rd with “Late Return”.
