*1st Race @ 11.55am & ALL Races carry a BOBS Silver Bonus available up to $9,625.00; while Race 1 also offers a BOBS Extra Bonus of $5,625.00

*Track likely Heavy 8 & Rail out +4m:

*RACE 1 @ 11.55am PAGES EVENT HIRE BENCHMARK 58 HCP (2200m) – Min Weight 55kg; Apprentices can Claim:

We open up over the staying trip, and provincial four-year-old 2. PAST TENSE (Kris Lees/Christian Reith; 60.5kg) is well placed to make it two straight after a dominant CL1 display at Coffs. Maps to get the right trail, and is by classic wet tracker sire Wandjina.

*MAIN DANGERS: Be forgiving of four-year-old 1. Telfer after putting in a shocker at Gosford behind an in-form galloper. Previous form was rock solid and key gear changes have been made. Improving five-year-old 5. Promesa is on the seven day back-up after a determined win at Tamworth driving home from well off the speed, and drops significantly in weight for this harder test.

Likely Tempo: Fair

My Betting Attack: PAST TENSE to WIN

*RACE 2 @ 12.35pm OLE KIRK @VINERY MAIDEN PLATE (1600m) – Set Weights; Apprentices Can Claim:

Tactical affair over the mile, and the step out in distance at only her third start augurs well for progfressive provincial three-year-old filly 10. SUPREME PLAY (Wayne Seelin/Ashley Morgan; 57kg) who can find an ideal trail off the fence. Has worked to the line nicely in her last two, and is by Group 1 Doncaster winner Kermadec.

*MAIN DANGERS: Provincial mare 8. Mysterious Lady has been up for a long time, but did her best work late on a Heavy 10 last start, and the step up in trip is also an added bonus. Over the odds. Local four-year-old mare 5. Front Row Ticket has been mixing her form all prep, and is a query in heavy ground, but draws to get a soft run.

Likely Tempo: Reasonable

My Betting Attack: SUPREME PLAY to WIN

*RACE 3 @ 1.15pm NEWGATE MAIDEN HCP (1300m) – Min Weight 55kg; Apprentices Can Claim:

Very keen here on promising local three-year old 2. STEPLEE (Rodney Northam/Ashley Morgan; 60kg) who was terrific on debut making up a tonne of ground behind a smart youngster at Muswellbrook. Will likely go back again from the wide gate, but with that experience and back on his home track, will take plenty of holding out.

*MAIN DANGERS: Provincial filly 12. Just Like Lisa didn’t get things to suit at Taree third-up, but she’s much better placed on the bigger track with a stronger rider aboard. Watch the betting on two-year-old provincial filly 11. Grecian Lass who draws off the track, but debuts off some progressive work at the trials; while stablemate two-year-old American Pharoah colt 6. Always Hapi also on debut; and at big odds three-year-old filly 15. Medician Miss resuming with blinkers coming off both go in exotic plays.

Likely Tempo: Solid

My Betting Attack: STEPLEE to WIN & Trifecta 2,12/2,6,11,12,15/2,6,11,12,15

*RACE 4 @ 1.55pm PRYDE’S EASIFEED MAIDEN PLATE (1100m) – Set Weights; Apprentices Can Claim:

Like three-year-old Rothesay gelding 6. SQUEEAK (Tim McIntosh/Clayton Gallagher; 59kg) who debuts in blinkers from a sound draw. Looked sharp ploughing through soft ground for a recent easy trial win, and form country rider sticks for race day.

*MAIN DANGERS: You couldn’t miss the flashing run of home track three-year-old filly 8. Miss Kingston who charged home from a mile back in her first run here since switching from Victoria. Extra trip is an obvious plus, and draws to get plenty of cover and again be saved for the final surge. Improving Randwick three-year-old 5. Sarandos will appreciate a little drop in quality after two runs back at the provincials. Capable provincial filly 7. A Tender Lady also hit the line hard from well off the speed third-up; while keeping safe four-year-old 2. Chestnut Scaffa having his first run for a new stable with significant gear changes.

Likely Tempo: Good

How to play it: SQUEEAK to WIN and Quinella: 6 & 8

*RACE 5 @ 2.35pm RURANGGA FARM MAIDEN PLATE (1100m) – Set Weights; Apprentices Can Claim:

Given four weeks between runs local three-year-old filly 9. SPRITZA SERITZA (Rodney Northam/Daniel Northey; 57kg) can break through third-up with winkers added. Has finished well to miss narrowly in her last two, and peaks returning home to the more suitable bigger and sweeping circuit.

*MAIN DANGERS: Big watch on provincial Rubick two-year-old 10. Ciao Bicky who reloads after missing the run at Tamworth last week. Debuts in blinkers, and was a smart trial winner here a month ago. Local three-year-old 1. Andorra La Vella worked home okay on debut behind a very promising filly who has since won again in brilliant fashion. Home track Dundeel three-year-old 4. Mydeel has had to bide his time before debuting. Has trialled okay and draws to get a cheap run on the fence. Included in exotics two-year-old provincial filly 12. Island Lass fourth-up.

Likely Tempo: Good

My Betting Attack: SPRITZA SERITZA to WIN and Box Exacta 1,9,10

*RACE 6 @ 3.15pm ARROWFIELD 30 YEARS OF GREATNESS BENCHMARK 66 HCP (1400m) – Min Weight 55jkg; Apprentices Can Claim:

Good strong open race with plenty of chances and solid speed on. Sticking with provincial four-year-old 8. BERRUTI (Kris Lees/Christian Reith; 57.5kg) who lost his way in the bog at Muswellbrook and didn’t finish off. Previous run here was very good carrying 4kg more, and hard fit he’s ready to win again.

*MAIN DANGERS: Talented local four-year-old 1. Eiger hasn’t won for a long time, but off a five week freshen-up and finally back at home, he can hit the line. Suspect he’ll be ridden a little quieter this time after leading for a long way last start. Keep safe local three-year-old 5. Nothing’s Sacred resuming with blinkers back on; while provincial six-year-old 11. The Outcast was a smart BM 58 winner here two runs back, but taking on some better ones.

Likely Tempo: Solid

My Betting Attack: BERRUTI Each Way and Box Trifecta: 1,5,8,11

*RACE 7 @ 3.52pm HELLBENT @YARRAMAN CLASS 1 HCP (1100m) – Min Weight 55kg; Apprentices Can Claim:

With plenty coming out of this race, lightly raced provincial three-year-old 2. TINKA’S LAD (Kim Waugh/Ms Alysha Collett; 59.5kg) can strike first-up off two forward trials. Was a dominant heavy track maiden winner here just before Xmas, and draws to stalk the speed. The one to beat.

*MAIN DANGERS: Capable local filly 3. Surooj has been freshened up since failing in a Highway in late May. Won a recent trial in smart fashion beating Mr Hussill who subsequently resumed off a very long absence with a terrific Highway win at Randwick on Saturday. Local four-year-old 9. Spilt has been strong to the line in two handy form races this prep, and given a month between runs for this drop back in distance. Watch the betting on resuming provincial filly 8. Miss Kojiki who resumes off a nice trial; while smart local filly 10. Baiyka has attacked the line in two runs here behind a couple of highly-touted winners, and the extra 200m is ideal.

Likely Tempo: Good to Strong

My Betting Attack: TINKA’S LAD to WIN

*RACE 8 @ 4.30pm EMIRATES PARK BENCHMARK 58 HCP (1100m) – Min Weight 55kg; Apprentices Can Claim:

We close a strong card over the same sprint trip, and just like last time all aboard smart home track filly 2. VERY SHARP (Rodney Northam/Jackson Searle a3kg; 59.5kg) who can strike again over more ground, with a pivotal 3kg allowance. Rushed home late to claim a handy CL1 last time, and while she’s still to prove herself on a heavy surface, is bred to handle it being by Bull Point out of a Shamardal mare.

*MAIN DANGERS: Big watch on lightly raced five-year-old 1. Free Rider who resumes after two progressive trials, and has a sound fresh record. Gap to the rest headed by four-year-old 3. Chasing Comets second-up; and improving metro three-year-old 4. Feeling Mighty who is third-up.

Likely Tempo: Solid

My Betting Attack: VERY SHARP to WIN and Quinella: 1 & 2
